(PGA)Absorbable Synthetic Suture

Absorbable Surgical Synthetic Suture (herein after called PGA suture), whose trademark is Jinhuan, mainly based on polyglycolic acid, and the techniques of manufacturing are monomer-polymerization-spin-braid-pack & sterilize. PGA suture is coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate, have been found to be insert, nonantigenic and nonpyrogenic. PGA suture is available dyed (violet) and undyed. The dyestuff used in PGA suture is used of D&C Violet, which is certified by U.S.FDA.
The process of manufacturing of PGA suture complies with the requirements of USP and EP. The USP size of the PGA suture is from 8-0 to 3 (metric size 0.4 to 6). The length of the PGA suture is according to the kinds of surgical indication. The PGA suture is available with or without needle.
